I read a lot to pass the time and audiobooks are really nice if I’m having trouble concentrating. I also play games with my pets because they always go a little crazy in extreme weather. My dogs LOVE blanket forts and it was so fun for me since I hadn’t made one in like 40 years. I also tend to snack a lot when we get stuck inside so popcorn is a must. We pop our own in either an air popper if the power is on or in a kettle on the stove if the power goes out (we have a gas range).
Just be sure to charge up a battery bank for your phone and any rechargeable lanterns, otherwise stock up on batteries if your lanterns and flashlights use them.
