Goddammit, I hit reply too soon by accident. Anyway, it really doesn't sit well with a lot of people that Chloe's development was backpedaled on because the creator is hellbent on a teenage Mean Girl being born and destined to renain the "evil" forever, and Astruc saying she has no "motive" because "she's not abused, she's just mean" even though it's been shown ON THE SHOW that her mother is verbally/emotionally abusive and he doesn't get to decide she's not just because the person she's doing it to is a bully.

Oh yeah, there were definitely multiple people involved in writing that arc. ... I honestly don't know if that's actually confirmed, but you don't get an arc that swerves like that when it's written by one person with a coherent vision.
