TBF, Joel McHale was on The Soup and Community, which both did a ton of episodes. Community did over 100! It just never ever felt like it was a big hit. And The Soup was a different kind of animal obviously.

On the other hand, he's really only had 3 shows flop (a talk show, a game show, and a sitcom) (the sitcom was The Great Indoors co-starring Stephen Fry and how weird is it that there was a sitcom with Stephen Fry and Joel McHale)

Shows do fine as long as he's not the lead. It's when he's the lead that they're doomed. Not through any lack of ability or charisma on his part. Hence why it's the Tim Daly curse. *shrug*
