I'm not. It's speculated it's the root cause of a LOT of issues here in the US. It's gotten a lot better, but particularly in poor, urban areas, kids are still being poisoned (and in places like Flint, Michigan, too....)

Oh my god! I am genuinely sorry. And I thought that growing up with food shortages and extreme crime rates was bleak. At least as far as I know we weren't lead poisoned.

It's pretty horrifying, for sure. And it's something that nobody really knew about/talked about until the last few years.
