Reblogging and re-tweeting, you mean? I don't know how hard would it be to apply something similar in DW, since the system is from an era where you only found stuff through links your friends actively put in their journals. Unfortunately, that I can understand, and for the RP community here, it's a sore point that we're isolated and don't get as much new blood as we'd want.

But, I believe the algorithm leading Twitter is what's caused everything terrible about fandom to intensify to the point you're better off deleting your account. 400 letters is not a good way to debate politics. Not to mention an algorithm would go against Dreamwidth's principles of privacy.
