I got introduced to manga LATE in life. Like, I was in my mid teens when Pokemon, Vampire Hunter D, Dragon Ball Z, etc. came on my screens. I remember watching G-Force in the early 80s, but most people don't remember the cartoon.

But yes, with the exception of HP, all my fandoms have been American, so it's rather nervy for me to be all Britspeak all over American characters.

I tend to stay to the book fandoms over TV ones, because at least with comics, I can stick to an arc and mine it for Justice! TV shows, I'm always like, six episodes behind.

Right, must to and tinker at my edits. Oy.

In the early eighties, I was just in the process of being conceived and born, so G-force passed me by. I came to fandom in general when I was 15 and it was Sailormoon. I have no idea what I did before then, other than read a lot of books and write emo poetry. I stopped.

I've never been a big TV person, which is why I liked manga. 90% of the time, I could read the manga and not have to worry about catching up on the show. SPN is my only TV fandom, and I'm over half a season behind lol.
