It's definitely the best of the pre-Fury Road ones anyway!

If only for Dr. Dealgood's speech:

Listen all! This is the truth of it. Fighting leads to killing, and killing gets to warring. And that was damn near the death of us all. Look at us now! Busted up, and everyone talking about hard rain. But we've learned, by the dust of them all. Bartertown learned. Now, when men get to fighting, it happens here. And it finishes here. Two men enter; one man leaves.

Right now, I've got two men, two men with a gut full of fear. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... dyin' times here!

God, I love that poster.
And yeah, it's an excellent movie; i love the lore and mythology the kids came up with, i loved the utterly improbable Barter Town, and omg, Tina Turner, in her airy roost above it all.....

:D

I've always loved it because it was the Mad Max film I watched the most as a kid. It was either on a cable channel a lot or my dad or uncle had it on VHS.

It's my favourite too! Random info, there used to be a museum in a tiny town near where it was filmed that had some of the vehicles from the movie on display, and the local publican owned Mad Max's car. I haven't been there for years, so I don't know if either of them are still there.

Plate o' shrimp, I just rewatched this the other night since it's free on tubi (in the US, anyway). Love-love Auntie Entity. I really love how queer most of the characters working for Auntie are. They definitely just walked into a gay bar in Sydney and plucked the cast from the dance floor. Now I have the ending tune stuck in my head, thanks, OP!
