LOL. It's not about "different cultures", it's about medical science vs. New Age quackery. The olive oil treatment doesn't promise some magical woo woo cure like essential oil. It's specifically meant to soften dry ear wax in order to aid the process where the wax sloughs out of the ear canal naturally. This is recommended by actual medical doctors with actual medical credentials, not randos on the internet with a paranoia about modern medicine.

I'm here for that first line. That said, I've seen RNs and even a couple MDs recommend borderline fraudulent treatments, so....

Unfortunately, people can answer and perform on tests what they know they need to, and then NOT do that in their professional lives. Also, it just came out recently that Florida has been graduating nurses with no actual qualifications....
