Nah but nice try. I’ve been in fandom four decades and I stopped hiding that about 15 years ago. I don’t know anyone who hides the fact that they’re in fandom anymore. But I do wish the loud fringe fans wouldn’t attribute their extreme views/behaviour to being in fandom. They are, as is often the case, the minority but are so loud that they’re frequently mistaken as the majority.
