Maybe donate some soap to a homeless shelter?

Places like that always need too much soap. And socks, too.

A local food bank lists that they want hygiene items but that they must be 'individually wrapped.' I took that to mean they'd only want store-bought stuff and gave up on donating. I should ask around a little more.
