I saw that and tbh I think it was weird to question what it had to do with fandom but the response was uncalled for. We seem to have a lot of people some days who are quick to jump to insults or get aggressive. Ten years ago FS was way more hostile so it’s definitely better but the bad ones stick out more when they get ugly.

Discworld has been widely translated but it’s a massive series so not every book in every language is available. I highly recommend checking it out in your preferred language. The Vines boot theory was in Men at Arms. The boot theory itself is now a legitimate economic theory in common use and it changed how inflation is measured and tracked in some countries the last couple years.
