Fandom is architecture and design: My spicy hot take is that I like Brutalist designs. It only gets a bad rep because the English goverments, as fucking always, cheaped out on the materials and upkeep when they did it. At least it makes a change from Faux-Gothic and Mock-bloody-Tudor. Alison Smithson forever!

Yay, Brutalism! I spent a fair amount of time in Brutalist buildings growing up, and I loved how they did really interesting things with dimension (think sunken pools or unique step/stair configurations). Plus some of the playgrounds I visited included Brutalist elements.
