The one and only time I went to a meet up was for a Hetalia meet organized by the community on Livejournal. There were about 3 or 4 of us in our 20s while the rest were teenagers who kept making yaoi related jokes out loud in public (we had met at a large park and ended up wandering near a fair that was happening), and one of them had bought a jar of marshmallow spread and kept offering it to everyone while calling it cum.

Ended up leaving early and didn't do that again.

TBH, I got as far as "a Hetalia meet organized by the community on Livejournal" and silently went, oh noooooo in my head. The rest of the post went kind of like how I thought it might. My sympathies, nonny.

Look, at least your meet didn't go up to a Holocaust memorial and did a Nazi salute. In terms of Hetalia fandom, yours seems fairly tame (gets that it was still uncomfortable though).
