Idk it's kind of soothing, in the kind of warped way that those of us who take interest in morbid things like this enjoy? He has a nice voice too.

- no dramatic sound effects or jump scares and the like
- overall he just seems genuinely respectful of the lives lost and human impact of these disasters. oftentimes he'll wrap up with a mention of some memorial plaque (or equivalent commemorative landmark) for the those who lost their lives, which i think is a thoughtful touch
