A little OT: having moots to indicate some form of alliance/acknowledgement of each other's existence is a reason why I gave up active participation in fandom

There is so much to social currency with a lot of unwritten rules and my CPTSD introverted neurodivergent ass is too lazy to work through all that shit to network an active fandom ID/to potentially make friends

I don't know if this helps, but most exchanges I do will accommodate private requests to not be matched to a specific person. It's a standard part of Dreamwidth-based exchanges, although YMMV widely on Twitter and Tumblr. Experienced mods will usually accommodate this, though, since it's basically impossible to not have bad blood exist between members of a fandom.

This has been my experience too. It seems like a reasonable request to make if the mods didn't offer it up front!
