Watching anything good recently? Any new movies or TV shows you want to talk about?

I’m watching Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS for the first time. I’m almost done with it and I have a lot of feelings about it, but no one to talk to about it. Plus I’m watching the dub and the general consensus seems to be that the dub sucks because of censorship choices, but I gave the sub a try and the dub’s honestly much more watchable IMHO.

I am burning through old episodes of Perry Mason at the moment

Actually it's very enjoyable but part of that is I just really enjoy watching Raymond Burr. Fantastically fun actor to watch.

I feel like I've watched all of the Mike episodes so many times I can rattle them off by heart, but I've started going back and watching some of the Joel episodes because they're a little less familiar to me. And they're great!

I like Joel more as a host! but I feel like they chose much better movies in the Mike era so I've generally watched those more. Like, Space Mutiny is just a perfect movie to riff on.

Not a new show, but I've watched Briarpatch and apparently no one even heard about it. Such a wonderful weird show. Oh well

I'm a huge Succession fan but I've only managed to watch the first episode.

I tend to avoid a show I love when I know it's ending. I think it comes from me not wanting something to end, even if I know it won't be a bad ending.

I honestly have no predictions or desires on how the show will end either. I just want to see where the Roy siblings end up by show's end. What will happen to Logan?
And of course, will Tom and Greg fuck?

For around to watching White Lotus. Just finished the first season (which was excellent) and am on to the second. Haven't really heard anything about it yet so hoping it's as good as the first.

Finished Shadow and Bone recently. I really found Alina's storyline boring and only wanted the Jasper story.

I've been watching Nebula instead of youtube lately. It's basically all the stuff I actually want except better in every way. I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm interested in Nebula, too! I'm probably going to subscribe when I run out of stuff to watch on Netflix.
What channels are you following? Do you have any Nebula exclusive content to recommend?

Lindsay Ellis is still making stuff on there so that's what I I most enjoy.

The trusted standby: Todd in the Shadows, Legal Eagle and Real Time History.

And then fandom stuff: Nerdsync and Nando v. Movies.

I kind of wish I could block all the TLDR News videos though, god they're annoying.

I don't know about the platform or if you watch it on an app so this might be not helpful, but maybe you could try setting a filter with ublock (or any other ad blocker you use)? https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/how-to-block-content-from-web-pages-using-ublock-origin/

Yesterday I stayed at home because I was feeling very sick and I watched all of the three seasons of Derry Girls. It was awesome!
I laughed a lot, especially in the first season, and I shed a couple of tears at the ending.

OH SAME I didn't really enjoy the last season that much, but it's partly because I binge watched it so I was pretty tired by the end. But the third season is objectively the weakest one for sure.
There were some good moments, but I think that they didn't really have anything left to say after the first two seasons. I'm glad they decided to wrap it up at three. THAT ENDING IS EVERYTHING! I watched it three times ;__;
