I'm pretty slow with picking up names and understanding how some characters' dynamics operate so I feel that frustration too.

Also, I took for granted how some shows being aired at certain times on certain days were part of my routine.
Left to manage my own tv watching schedule, most shows will be watched "when I get to it".
