OP, you're assuming that everyone who clicked on your fic also read it or has finished reading.
Sometimes I click on a fic because it sounds interesting but only read a few sentences before realising it's not for me (after which I don't leave anything) or I take a few days to finish a long fic.

Ofc there are many ppl who read and don't say anything as well but a click literally means just that.

I also find it odd that there is always such a stark distinction between writer and reader. I am both and I definitely don't always leave a comment/kudos on every fic I click on (even those I read) for various reasons. (I do try)

This. I'll click on a fic if the summary sounds intriguing, but that doesn't mean I'll actually read it if I get a few paragraphs in and realize that I'm just not vibing with it. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the fic, it just means it wasn't for me.
