Wild how I read through hundreds of comments on a tweet that claimed the abusive ex story and not one said it was false.

Bardugo's audience pretty strictly separates themselves on Twitter into their respective echo chambers, which can make debunking falsehoods hard. She also deleted her tumblr, which had many explanations of the Darkling's origins. Even so, there are plenty of screenshots out there.
