It felt like they were trying to pretend that Steve and Sam had never killed anyone in a combat situation, when we saw both of them do it onscreen in the movies and this show itself in Sam's case. And like Steve hadn't killed people with the shield, when it's pretty certain that he did; they just didn't show the blood. And no, I don't think you're forgetting anything, or if you have, I've forgotten it too.

I was ... very disappointed with this show. It didn't kill my interest in the MCU, but it did kill all of my interest in the Cap franchise.
