Yeah, a higher percentage of 1st POV is crap compared to 3rd- limited or omniscient. It's REALLY hard to do 1st POV well. 2nd is RIGHT OUT.

Well I wouldn't write an entire novel in 2nd POV unless it was some kind of Choose-Your-Own-Adventure.

But for some kinds of short, intense, emotion-heavy fics, it is... *kisses fingers* mwah.

I've read a few novels in 2nd person, but they've been very clearly stylized to be directed at a character in the work, not at the reader, which IMO changes it from awkward to gorgeous.
