She’s just an annoying character in one of the worst of the earlier episodes. The pointed teeth and hissing are not a Twi’lek (her species) thing, it’s just her. I love some silly characters in Star Wars (which you may be less into), but she’s just ridiculous.

The pointed teeth is apparently typically a male Twilek thing, but since we see one guy for every twenty sexy Twi’lek girls it’s easy to miss that.

She's the sister of the guy they're breaking out. Also, one quickly comes to realize that the guy who hired them was pretty much counting on Mando to do all the real work, and the rest of the team was there almost solely to shank him in the back and finish the extraction when he realized what exactly they were doing.

I thought that was Rita Repulsa.

hm, yeah I know far too much about SW costuming and this is the first I'm seeing this character. Twi'lek head coverings are usually a little more soft in shaping around the head-tails and forehead. It's not wrong, but it's definitely not the best execution even if they were going for a more rugged look to characterize her as tough or whatever.

You mean Star Wars Harley Quinn?

Honestly, she’s the most annoying character in the whole series for me.

I think your criticism of this episode is totally valid, and also a fairly popular view of the episode among audiences. I'm sure some people really liked that episode, but overall I don't think it was very popular. Personally I found it bad. It felt like a clunky episode-of-the-week throwback from like 2001, and not in a charming way.

Originally, it's my understanding, Mandalorian was supposed to be for a casual fan who didn't have knowledge of anything Star Wars at all. (Then they killed that with the last episode of season 1, and all of season 2.) So, when they decide to break the female Twi'lek stereotype (which is pretty sexy dancer girls) for a tough mercenary type, it had 2 ways to go, amazing, or very bad.

Unfortunately, the actress who played her is also Tonks from HP, and I dunno what her direction was but psychotic five year old is SPOT ON. The whole crew could have been really interesting if they'd played up... SPACE DAD BOUNTY HUNTER who seemed to have an ounce of smarts. Instead of trying tie the franchise to every single other show they've done.

And that head gear is awful. Maybe it was to hide the head piece stuff but, just awful.

But that's my opinion and YMMV. (Wraith Squadron had a sexy twi'lek dancer girl turned pilot who was cool, but she's from the Legends EU now.)

I liked the episode, but I loathed her character. I just can't understand why they went with the psychotic 5-year-old characterization, but I guess it was at least partly the actress.
