I never leave comments nor kudos on fics written in English in megafandoms, no matter how good they are. Oh boo you only had 100,000 hits and 1000 kudos? well cry me a river and come back when you write in rarer languages and for the kind of small fandoms where you're lucky to get 10 hits and you can flip a coin on getting 0 or 1 single kudos--those I'll do my best to comment and encourage.

I'm generous with my kudos, but yeah. I feel you about the comments. The only one I leave are for those written in my first or second language.
I always fear that my English is not good enough, too, so I never comment lol.

I leave kudos on popular fics, why not I liked it. But commenting? Nah. Commenting fics takes too much energy from me. I rewrite every single word even if it's "great fic I loved it"
