Late Norman/Angevin monarchs of England - the whole "women can't rule" setup recalls Henry I and his successors, King Stephen vs the Empress Maud (or was it Matilda?) Then there's the excellent woman choice of monarch, ie the late Tudor monarchs, though Rhaenyra doesn't have as close parallels with Elizabeth I as I thought in the first couple of episodes, lol.

But I watch the whole GoT\House of the Dragon and read the Dunk and Egg stories with a beady eye for parallels now. Dunk getting his helmet bashed back into shape on an anvil? Sounds familiar; William Marshal in the late 1100s. There are probably lots more, but my knowledge of both history and fantasy-world history is a bit hazy these days.
