For full clarity I was raised by a Jewish mother (and my dad's a private guy who never really brought up what he was raised as, but he's always seemed pretty agnostic to me) who never wanted to pressure me or my sibling into religion so my knowledge of any non-Jewish religion was entirely via cultural osmosis (so basically just Christmas nativity plays). I never read Narnia either. And like I said, autistic, so I took things at face value.

Incidentally, the Bible is also on my "should probably read eventually but I have better things to do with my time right now" list. Religious texts seem so tedious...
