OH YEAH. Same. There is a lot on emphasis on the fact that he was mistaken and that is why here we still (SIGH) call the indigenous people of America "Indian American". I always found that ridiculous.

We Italians know more about Columbus maybe because he was from here (and there is tourism in Genoa because of him), but I do believe that for us is way more important Ferdinand Magellan. IDK I hear people talking about him in a way better light.
