What is everyone doing?

This will be my child free weekend after having the niblings for a week. It is also the first 90+ degree weekend where I live. Going to be pretty miserable. There is a WWE PPV that I might watch but it isn't as fun without being at my sister's.

I had a list of chores I planned to do, but I seem to be preemptively drained from thinking about doing all of them, so who knows how many will get done. Hopefully some. For the rest of today though I plan to lie in bed and stare at the ceiling.

That is how I feel every time I think of cleaning out our garage. Been needing to do it for a year.

I will be researching how to build a guillotine. I have my reasons...

Seems like many people do depending on where you live right now.

Cleaning out the stuff in my closet that no longer fits and putting the winter sweaters and things in baskets. (I have these square cloth storage baskets).

I'm not looking forward to doing it, but I'm looking forward to having a nice organized closet.

Relaxing mostly. My aunt is visiting, but she and mom will be at the spa all day tomorrow. So I'll have the house to myself. And TBH I'm probably just going to rest and sleep.

Plant shopping! We are arriving in the safety zone (no more threat of overnight frost) for planting, so I will be venturing out to a new to me greenhouse to hopefully find some fun plants to add to my gardens.

I wish I owned the house instead of rented, because it would blow my options for gardening wide open and I have so many Ideas for this property. But I work with what I've got.

Waking up early to walk through a park with my sister. There's an art program going on where we download an app and listen to the music sounds in our ear buds as we walk through the park. After that, we're meeting up with our brothers to go watch GOTG 3. Will come home and do laundry after that.

Area rug cleaning! There's a lot of rain the forecast, so I think this is the time to do it.

Doing a deep cleaning?

So with the King's coronation happening here and I was going to travel up to my friend's house to hang out - but then I saw the news report of police carrying huge ass guns 'just in case' at some of the train stations over the weekend and just decided to just simply not leave my house and marathon some old disney movies instead.

Also the fandom I'm in is just five fics away from being in a hundreds number, so I'm also going to work on five stories to meet that number for reasons.

Oh yeah, that is tomorrow, right? Guess it will be pretty busy. Have fun relaxing.

I might go see GotG vol.3 again.

I think if I can finish crafting two more items, I'll be done with the FFXIV Heavensward crafting class quests. WOOOOO. After that I will maybe properly be able to focus on the actual plot again.

Also continuing to plug away at chainmail (I bought a quarter-mile spool today because there's already 500ft of wire in this shirt and it's not finished and I have to make a hood and cover the legs too), and tomorrow my friend informed me that there's a Pokemon Go raid day, which I wasn't aware of, but the weather has been really nice and I really SHOULD get out of the house and do stuff.

That is so much chainmail. Are your fingerprints going to disappear like the LOTR people? D:

....I was not aware that had happened to other people, lol. I am definitely getting the calluses that I somehow never got when I learned to play guitar (it just kept hurting all the time... maybe I should try again now).

Wrestling really is one of those things that's more fun to watch with friends. :<

The local home improvement store is having a massive anniversary/Mothers Day sale so my partner and I splurged a teeny bit, bought some ceramic planters, plants, and bulbs, so Saturday I'm probably going to be working on that. I also really need to clear out and till the area where our small corn field is going (I say field, what I really mean is like a 7'x7' block). I meant for it to already be done with seeds in the ground but time got away from me lmao.

This is also my last weekend before I start my new job so at some point I need to do laundry.

Ooh, I hope you get a lot of fun stuff tomorrow! And that the laundry isn't too terrible.
