I suppose so. But I don’t personally think that’s OP’s situation, and it’s not exactly what I was talking about. Blocking to tailor your feed can be different than blocking to shut out all dissenting opinions and being in an echo chamber.

Dunno. The Op's last comments read similar in word choice to people I've seen reinforce their social media echo chambers (mostly because it sounds like this is a block they're not considering reversing down the road).

I mean, I'm OP and I don't intend to reverse the block down the road because ... why would I? It's a game publisher whose games I don't play who only got shoved into my feed because it's a paid ad. So... nah, that's not even remotely creating an echo chamber. Unless you consider blocking ads by companies you don't care about an echo chamber in which case the term has lost all meaning by now.
