I do!

I asked for a link, a post, something, but all they offered was some weak shit: "I don't keep track of every Spike hate post." Which just screams how it's just so easy to find!

While I can guarantee every Buffy fan space not pro-Xander has Xanderslander. Every. Single. Day. Non-stop.

Go on R/reddit right now and I promise there's at least one post bashing Xander and none bashing Spike. Go on. Look.

And there will be a Xander bashing post tomorrow and the next day. And the day after that. And the day after that...

Even if I wanted to spend the time to go find links to posts I've seen in passing recently, I probably wouldn't link them to someone who sounds so likely to go and scream at the original poster

I wouldn't scream at them I would fucking block them.

DA

It does nothing of the sort. I don't care if the OP is referring to years of frustrating conversations that they had with friends in real life and can't "prove" happened even if they wanted to, or just isn't the sort of person who grudge-saves links to posts that make them angry, or simply wants to hang out here instead of trying to find examples elsewhere and link to Spike-hate in the process. I believe them. I've been in fandom long enough to know that the people who gather on different platforms tend to develop fairly different consensus readings about characters and some of them can be punishing. And there've been people yelling about how anyone who didn't turn on Spike after the rape attempt is proving themselves a traitor to woman-kind since the damn episode came out. So, if Buffy's still something people talk about, I really doubt that ever went away.
