I don't know what game this is, but this is me in every game.

I just feel bad! I'm too much of a goody two-shoes! Even when I try to go evil I end up making tons of nice choices!

See, I think the problem is that in video games, there is a very narrow range of what they consider evil. Don't murder people you just beat bloody if they beg you for their life? Must be good. Don't abandon starving orphans to their fate? Must be good. And there's very little incentive to do even the few, awkward things they are setting up that you could do.

If the situation were that simple in reality, I think evil would be extremely rare here, and no one would ever worry about whether they might be evil at all. The game developers just haven't developed the premise adequately.

But, as things stand, evil runs take a great deal of self-discipline. Ironically enough.

Every time I've tried to be evil in a game, I've only become a tsundere hero at the very worst. I don't have the heart to harm fictional people deliberately.

I've modded Skyrim to either let me be a good guy, or skip quests where I have to be a bad guy.
