See, good in video games is what happens with zero effort. The whole game is geared towards that path. Evil in video games is how things go if you work at it every step of the way. Can we kill? KILL. Does it burn? BURN. It's a very straitlaced, "card-carrying villain" mindset you're aiming for. And you must be very consistent about it.

I love villains, and I love playing villains in flexible settings like theater improv. But video games are extremely constrained, by comparison. Depressingly so.

Love ratfic, like I'll concede it can get smug and I don't fuck with the Rationalist AI apocalypticism shit, but they're right about the utilitarianism and transhumanism and as an autist it is indescribably refreshing to read about characters who act reasonably. So like. This readable without too much knowledge of Overwatch?

I have not played this, but the dynamic sounds like it's aiming to incentivize the player doing some of each. Not being all-merciful, and also not all-homicidal.

Which actually seems kind of neat, to me.

Is the rest of the game interesting or good?
