Just curious, but do you have an issue with it when someone is cast as a younger/older version of the character (like The Crown) or does your mind just accept that that's what they must look like at that age?

This was my comment. And yes, I usually do. If they really do look like a younger version or older version of the original actor, sometimes I can suspend disbelief.

Ah. That must be kind of annoying. I grew up with soap operas and so many roles had different actors through their runs (because of the schedules of the programs, occasionally they would announce at the beginning of the episode, "The role of Blade Sinclair is now being played by Newac Tor.") So, it generally doesn't faze me, even though I find a lot of remakes unnecessary. I will say, I kind of like it when they actually call out the differences in a remake/reboot by making a different version of a character an alternate reality version.
