I like to think this is J2, since that fandom was absolutely bonkers (even more than SPN in general), but also ridiculously prolific.

A long ass time ago I made some funny friends in a fun fandom. Every time I see anyone mention hockey RPF I think of those friends. During the stages of my friend group dying out and many of us finding new fandoms to soak up our time, the funny friends all became huge NHL fans. I never got onto the bandwagon since I'm not that into sports. I like to imagine those friends as avid members of the hockey fandom

Sound great. I wanted to say that was my RPF fandom but mine has been gone for like 10 years I think
