With Blameitonjorge he does quite a lot on lost media, but has been doing true crime videos too and usually titles them as such - but the past two lost media (which is usually a collection rather than about one specific media) videos he has slipped in a few true crime stories that technically counted as lost media - but just felt a bit out the blue when going from a lost cartoon to discovered footage about a murderer.

Another youtuber I follow is usually a Alternative beauty vlogger and just threw in the true crime bit in the middle of the video.
So its usually whenever its hidden in a mix of other topics or not really titled/warned properly.

I remember when the beauty/Storytime vlogger Kendall Rae started to do this. It really through me off, because she hadn’t done anything true crime related until then, and that’s basically all she did afterwards. I was considering unsubscribing long before that, this just gave me a perfect excuse, because I don’t like true crime.
