I have completely lost interest in Critical Role and find the latest season really boring. I think a big part is the storyline, but another is it now being prerecorded, the upgraded set and the more professional vibe. I miss the feeling of it just being a group of friends around a crappy little table having fun. It's just not the same.

(Though I am happy for their success and hope they get to continue to do their thing for years to come!)

What is Critical Role? Is it a show where you watch people playing D&D-like stuff? Or is it an actual animated or live-person show?
