I would like to make couple of secrets from this thread just for the fun of it. Is there any way of not stepping on your toes? Marking it claimed or something?

I question your motivation. Seems like you want to twist or make fun of the secrets. Our regular secret maker has always been remarkably even handed.

... no? I just want to photoshop some secrets for fun, but I don't have anything secrety of my own. But feel free to think the worst of people.

I have one not so noble motivation, but it's that I really fucking hate the font our usual secret maker uses, the one that is cursive, I can't read it. But I am "don't like it do it yourself" kinda gal.

This is such a weird assumption to make. It seems way more likely that ayrt just might have some design inspirations for a secret after reading some that strike their fancy, maybe in the image used, the text, or the placements. It’s way more of a stretch to think the only reason anyone besides our usual secret maker would be to at in bad faith like twist a secret’s words and/or make fun of it. That could happen, sure, but to think that’s the most likely reasoning is strange to me.

That is such a negative take and there is absolutely no evidence for that in ayrt very simple question.

The way to not step on secret maker's toes is to make your own thread.

While I appreciate you asking first, I'd prefer it if you didn't do this. When others have tried this in the past, it generally led to confusion and accidental duplicate secrets. It's also harder for me to keep track of which comments have been made into secrets and which have not.

What I suggest is starting your own comment secret thread and letting people know that you, too, are interested in making secrets. If you only plan on picking and choosing, then I'd state that upfront as well so people are aware of it.

OK, sure! Thank you for replying.
My own comment thread isn't plausible since I am usually 4-5 hours late to the party and it's dead of the night for most of the F!S people. But I do understand not wanting to get into the whole mess of repeating secrets, so that's why I asked.

Well, I guess I should think up my own secrets ahahahaha :)

Of course ironically today's secret post is early. *heavy sigh*
