(Anonymous) 2023-05-21 07:12 am (UTC)(link)It seems rather tragic to me that a thought process that ascribes so much moral importance and responsibility to meaningless rituals, like "only talking or writing about allowed subjects in the right way" seems compelling to anyone and worth spending energy proselytizing for. But even harder to understand that people who don't have this reactionary monologue in their own head often aren't confident enough in their judgment to reject it when anyone else puts it forward.
