(Anonymous) 2023-05-21 12:31 am (UTC)(link)I got off the carousel and haven't looked back after Rebels definitively killed off Darth Maul, but it was relatively straightforward for me to do that because I've always been a fan, primarily, of the Star Wars villains. And none of the new villains seem to have much in the way of personality or complexity or even just raw ability. Disney just doesn't have the ability to captivate, anymore, and that's been apparent to me for a while. But it makes for poor attempts at storytelling.
