(Anonymous) 2023-05-24 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)From what I know (I have read about this) turbulence and similar weather conditions have caused crashes decades ago, in like the 40s and 50s, but generally aren't the sole cause of crashes in the last 50 or 60 years. They've *contributed* to crashes more recently but with modern aircraft crashes generally require significant pilot error, management error, mechanical error, or some combination of them.
