It's much funnier for me to believe Lestat is exaggerating at least a little bit so I say rock on.

Anybody taking them 'seriously' is nuts. I liked Interview and The Vampire Lestat, and honestly, the rest were bunk.

I remember reading the synopsis for The Vampire Lestat and I...didn't believe it. Until I read an article about Jonathan Davis from Korn providing singing vocals for Lestat in "Queen of the Damned".
