Who tries to make a right turn into a parking lot from the left lane? When there is a car driving in the right lane right near you?

Girl in a truck with a trailer decided that was the best plan. I slammed on my brakes but couldn't stop in time. And then she tried to claim it was my fault. Yes, I hit you lady. But you turned in front of me into my lane.

So missed a day of work and have to drive a rental and get my car fixed because it isn't drivable. And of course she didn't give me her accurate insurance info (was an old plan), so I had to go through my insurance and give them all the info I had on her. The cops were there, I
got a picture of her license plate and driver's license. So not really sure what she was trying to pull not giving me the right plan. Hopefully she actually has insurance.

This was on my way to a OBGYN appointment this morning that I had to schedule 2 months ago. So now I'm going to have to wait another couple months.

Got 2 hours of sleep last night on top of it. I'm just so done. Just so done.

Honestly I think she panicked. She was driving a work truck. She was around 19/20. I felt bad for her. But also annoyed.

I think I need a vacation from my imposter syndrome.

I've been taking vague stabs at creating content, but I still wince a lot after posting it. None of it is terrible, and occasionally I get hits on social media, but I still feel so...ambivalent.

How has a tasty-ish steroid not been invented? My niece got a poison ivy rash all over her body. Her face is covered, she has splotches on her arms and legs. She has it bad.

They gave her steroids for it but the liquid for of it is disgusting. She refuses to drink it and when we mixed it in with some juice, she threw it up. So my sister is taking her back to urgent care to see if they'll give her a shot and maybe pills or something.

They do have injections. Since I can't swallow pills, if I need a steroid that's how they often do it for me.

I've honestly never heard of liquid steroids before, I don't think that's a common way of giving it at all. I've been prescribed steroids many, many times and it's always been either in the form of a topical cream or as pills.

Things that get prescribed as pills to adults often have a liquid version for kids. Speaking as someone who will remember the awful, awful taste of liquid amoxicillin until I die, more doctors should trust children to swallow pills.

The pills also taste horrible. They can give her a shot but they won't do that unless it's severe enough because of the side-effects.

depending on how old the kid is they can absolutely swallow pills without tasting them.

And even if you do taste them, it's way easier to get the taste out of your mouth with a glass of water than it is with a liquid.

I might actually be mad if my husband tries to give me a happy surprise on my birthday. I need to fucking grieve this year, goddammit!
