Transcript:

Ever get paranoid about your personal position re: seven degrees of Kevin Bacon?

Ever get terrified when script writers or editors refer to
an incident from their childhood? Especially when you are dead certain they are referring to your role in their past?

Secret because who the heck cares about that stuff anymore
in the grand scheme of things?

I feel so horribly foolish...

This is funny because someone I work with made a big point of telling me, “You are three degrees from Kevin Bacon, lol,” just a month ago. It came out of the blue, and I was thinking that fad had faded.

Now I am paranoid. Thanks.

Op here...

Sorry, I guess I am a little out of date.

When I was in college, I already had a Bacon number of 4 twice over through people's associations with Josh Whedon and Susan Blu ( the first American voice of Arcee, from Transformers: The Movie ).

While normally this amuses me, every time the behemoth Transformers franchise gets older and bigger, I get strangely stressed out.

Also, I am from Europe. My maternal grandmother was from Pozzuoli. She once saw Sophia Lauren before all that pasta gave her those famous curves. We are talking about 2 degrees of separation from Europe's answer to Mr. Bacon.
