Re: what is QPR?

Queerplatonic relationship.

I’m sure others can define it better, but in the simplest terms it’s a non-sexual, non-romantic relationship that has levels of intimacy and commitment usually not associated with platonic relationships.

Perhaps two people who live together, share a bank account, etc, but are not romantically or sexually involved.

thanks for answering me!

Ah okay, that seems really obvious now. That basically just sounds like an aromantic asexual relationship? Not really what I think OP was saying since they specify romance and seems to have no problem with the sex part, just not wanting to read about it. I could be misreading OP though, that happens a lot with me!

Not really what is OP saying, but that is type of relationships. I should have had eleborate on that. There are a lot of types of human sexuality and romance. There is nothing wrong about that. Also our projections and things we want to read about can vary day to day. Also nothing wrong. And fanfic writers write different dynamics. Including QPR, asexual romance, gen etc. Not wanting to read something sexual about certain characters is nothing to be nervous about I think.
