History Boys secret! Yay. I love that movie to pieces, though the part that really breaks my heart is Posner's fate. Thankfully, this fic (http://yuletidetreasure.org/archive/71/nowfor.html) fixed that for me, and I kinda fixed (http://cherryroad.livejournal.com/6808.html) Dakin/Irwin for myself. Except I don't actually ship Dakin/Irwin. IDEK.

But I'm so glad to see a History Boys secret. I constantly pick up the script to read bits of it, and I read the play last week for the first time--it is just so, so good.

I was relieved that they didn't actually! I felt like Dakin was just being a cock tease and leading him on.

Oh yes, I loved that film. But I'm not really upset about the way it all unravelled at the end because it was kind of the point, wasn't it? Also because Dakin's a twat, but still, it made a sort of poetic, melancholy sense and fit in with the rest of the play.
