I have a friend who does the same thing, but not with Hetalia, with a different fandom. And what's worse is that I'm not even in that fandom, yet she brings it up all the damn time.

Thankfully I'm the only person I know who reads Hetalia. I'm sorry you're losing your love for it, but it happens.

A few of my friends seem to talk about Hetalia all the freaking time now. So much so that at this point I don't even care about saying this anon.

And then I have friends with a more sane interest in it, and that suits me just fine. I just don't understand why this series became so big. I probably never will.

I can't say that I know how you feel considering I'm the only person I know in real life that likes it. But maybe you should just tell them that all this talk about Hetalia is starting to get on your nerves. Or perhaps you should try to change the subject in a polite way whenever they start talking about it? Things like how their day is going and whatnot, just try to stay clear of world politics and geography and making them revert back to Hetalia.

This is why you have to make friends with a bucnh of pseudo hipsters, and only talk about fandom with one old friend. I often wonder what it'd be like to be in a situation like yours, when people would actually have any idea what the fuck you're talking about once in a while.
