I remember complaining about it watching the trailer so...

And I'm still annoyed at the fact that in the movies Harry's eyes are blue and not green.

I know, that's one thing that bugged me. I think Radcliffe nails the role of Harry, so I can't complain beyond the fact that his eyes aren't the right color. Couldn't they have him wear green contacts or fix it digitally, something?

Also, Muggle clothing. One of many reasons I think the first two films were the best in the series in terms of production--they were longer, had more canon details, and were overall just a lot more accurate to the books including clothing. One thing that Columbus did with the characters' clothes is that each indicated their character. I was thinking initially of when they're wearing scarves: Hermione's is tightly tied to perfection, Harry's is a loose knot, and Ron doesn't even bother tying his scarf. But if you look below at the third picture:



You'll notice that even how they close their robes varies by character.

*shrugs* Obsessive fan is obsessive. But I miss details like that, since the other films abandon those in favor of Muggle clothes :/

Being an obsessive fan myself I love your reading to their clothes!!

One thing it always bothered me too was Dan's hair colour. Harry's was pitch black :/

Dan's hair color didn't bother me as much as his eye color. Dark brown is often mistaken for black--I have dark brown hair, and you wouldn't believe how many times I've argued that it's not black--but you can't mistaken blue eyes for green eyes.
