I’ve been remote since the pandemic started. My job at the time went back to office about a year ago and I didn’t. It was pretty easy to find a different remote job, plus I got nice signing bonus and higher salary. It also left me with a lot more free time than my previous job so I took a second job in person doing manual labor on a shift, so I have four days a week that are really long but since so much of that is at home, it isn’t an issue. My in person job is only 15 minutes away and I’m driving against the heavy traffic so it’s more like a nice outing where I just happen to bring in some extra bucks after a good workout.
