I'm the same. I don't think I've personally related to a song since I was in high school. My current collection are either bangers, fandom related, or both. I just recently got video editing software and can finally realize my dream of making fanvids.

I'm sure this is the Boomer version of video editing software, BUT...

I was on my computer, just minding my own business, watching some ST: Lower Decks when low and behold, when I right clicked to move it to my "watched" folder, I saw a new option there. Since my first instinct when presented with new software is to immediately push all the buttons (and knowing it's not malware since my computer is protected to high heaven), I immediately open it and push all the buttons. Turns out it's clipchamp which apparently got installed in the latest forced microsoft update. I realize I can chop up videos and set them to music and immediately set myself to making a Hannibal video. It's slow going as I gather together my source material and try to get the clips and timing right, but it's a lot of fun! And most importantly, free.

I've also used it to make some gif memes that I've always thought would be awesome. And I was right.

This is so relatable it's funny. You have just describe my relationship with like a third of the songs in my library, lol.

It's like:

Songs I connect to my OTPs.
Songs I connect to my blorbos.
Songs I have mental fanvids for.
Songs I discovered through an actual fanvid someone made.

The last couple of months I've been suffering a bit of musical whiplash, because a lot of the songs I associate with my main OTP of the last four years are pop-ish, and upbeat, and sort of swooningly romantic. I mean, Bad Liar by Selena Gomez and I Wanna Be With You by Mandy Moore are on my Spotify mix for that ship, to give examples. So for several years there was a marked uptick in how much upbeat pop and "girly" pining songs I listened to.

Then, early this year, I got into a ship comprised of two fucked-up little toxic antagonist weirdos, and since then my music listening tendencies have swung hard towards songs about being toxic, kinky, and fucked-up. The shift has been pretty jarring. XD I actually had to make the active choice to listen to other stuff for a while because playing my Toxic, Kinky, And Fucked-Up playlist on repeat wasn't the best for my mental health, lol.

EXACTLY lol I need happier songs in my life. For the most part I ship villains/not villains and man is it TOXIC and all kinds of messed, so the songs follow suite. Plus my "blorbos" tend to be the villains so lmao. Perfectly articulated.
