I read three of the books before giving up but I absolutely love the TV series. It feels like a big, real world with living cultures in a way that the books absolutely didn't manage. Not a huge fan of the three boys among the five villagers but I can deal with them, and I would say the only thing I really dislike is the guys who hunt the Aes Sedai because they're overblown and boring and monologue too much.
