Because to word the secret this way creates low hanging fruit for needless misleads like the upthread comments.

And also that way we can actually have a discussion on whether or not this is a "director was being an asshat by choosing not to put scene in film" secret or "producers chose a different edit from director and now director is bitterly reminding everyone it wasn't their decision to cut this scene" secret.

"Filmmaker" can mean almost any person creating films, not all of us can agree it will automatically just mean "The Director" or "The Writer" or "The Producer" or "The Lead Actor" or "The Director/Writer/Producer/Actor who did most of the work on this film so they can literally be shorthanded as 'The Filmmaker'"
